WE ARE OPERATING ON AN APPOINTMENT ONLY BASIS AND HAVE REDUCED STAFFING LEVELS SO ANSWERING PHONE CALLS MAY TAKE A LITTLE LONGER. PLEASE BE PATIENT WHILE WE RETURN TO NORMAL WORKING PRACTICES.
Due to COVID-19 and the new highly transmissible variant of the virus, the risk of spreading the infection is high. We are still taking all the necessary precautions with infection control and following Government guidelines to keep you and our staff safe. ALL patients in need of eye care whether it be urgent or routine eye care or spectacle care, are advised to ring the practice first. We will triage your needs as our available appointments have been reduced in number for the time being and priority will be given to those in urgent need of care.
- We have strict hygiene and infection control measures in place and are requesting ALL patients attending the practice to wear a face covering and use the hand gel provided at entry. We are operating a locked door policy for the time being to control the number of the general public in the practice at any one time.
- All our Optometrists will be wearing full PPE and other members of staff will also be wearing face masks and at times face shields.
- Because of these measures in place, your appointment may seem longer so please allow more time for parking etc.
Thank you for your continued support and loyalty to our independent business through this difficult time and we hope to return to full staffing and capacity at a later date when it is safe to do so.
